Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 16, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Singularity: Collapse (the “app”), developed by Adam Ettinger (“we”, “us”), handles your information. The app is a single-player game that runs on your device. We do not run accounts or servers of our own, and your gameplay stays on your device — but the app does show optional rewarded ads through Google AdMob, which involves the limited data collection described below.
Information we collect
We don’t ask you for any personal information — there are no accounts, and the app never requests your name, email address, or other personal details to play. We also do not operate any analytics or servers of our own.
The app does include Google AdMob to show optional rewarded ads (see “Advertising” below). To serve those ads, Google’s advertising SDK may collect and process information such as a device advertising identifier, IP address, and general device information. That data is collected by Google, not by us.
Data stored on your device
To make the game work, the app saves your settings and progress locally on your device only, using your device’s standard app storage. This includes things like:
- game progress, levels reached, and best scores;
- daily streaks, freeze tokens, badges, and achievements;
- preferences such as sound/music settings, volume, and the visual theme;
- whether you’ve bought the Premium unlock.
This information stays on your device, is not transmitted to us, and is removed if you delete the app.
Advertising
The app shows rewarded ads through Google AdMob. These are optional — you choose when to watch one (for example, to earn extra hints). To deliver and measure ads, Google may use a device advertising identifier and related device data. You can read how Google uses this information at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Depending on your region and choices, ads may be personalized or non-personalized:
- In the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland, the app shows a Google-certified consent message before ads load, and you can change your choice any time from Settings → Manage consent in the app.
- On iOS, the app shows Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt; if you don’t allow tracking, ads are non-personalized.
- You can also reset or limit ad personalization in your device settings (for example, “Reset advertising ID” on Android, or the privacy settings on iOS).
Buying the Premium unlock removes ads from the app.
Internet access
You can play without an internet connection. The app connects to the internet to load ads and to process in-app purchases through your app store. It may also open external links in your browser when you tap them yourself — for example, this website or your email app for support. We do not run our own servers or send your game data anywhere.
Purchases
The app offers a one-time Premium in-app purchase. Purchases are processed entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play under their own terms and privacy policies. We never receive or store your payment information. The app only records, on your device, whether the purchase has been made so it can unlock the corresponding features, and it asks the store to confirm ownership if you restore purchases.
Children’s privacy
The app is intended for general audiences and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the app serves ads, we ask that it not be used by children under 13.
Third parties
The third-party services used by the app are:
- Google AdMob (Google LLC) — to show optional ads. See Google’s policies at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
- Apple App Store and Google Play — to distribute the app and process in-app purchases.
We do not sell your data, and we do not share data with third parties other than as described above.
Changes to this policy
If we update the app in a way that affects privacy — for example, by changing how ads work or by adding analytics — we will revise this policy and update the “Last updated” date above before that change ships. Continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
